Let’s look at some oversold and/or highly shorted stocks.

Understanding oversold and highly shorted stocks is crucial for traders and investors as it prepares them to seize potential opportunities. Oversold stocks might represent a bargain if they are undervalued due to excessive selling. Highly shorted stocks are poised for what’s called a short squeeze. A rapid price increase that can occur when short sellers scramble to cover their positions. By staying informed, investors can be better prepared to navigate the market.

AAMC: Back for a second week on our watchlist. Man, this stock has been on a nosedive for some time, no real bounce to speak of. The daily MACD’s starting to come together and the RSI is screaming oversold. The short float isn’t crazy, around 10%. But that’s still worth noting. Last time we hit these mid-8s, it bounced back nice. Definitely one to keep an eye on for the next few weeks.

AVXL: Here’s another one worth watching. Solid support level being tested, and every time it’s bounced off this line for the past year, it’s popped up nicely. RSI is way low, and MACD is converging for a bull cross. Short float is around 20%, so that’s something to keep in mind. This one’s on our radar to see if that trend support holds up again.

NCNC: Man, the IPO market’s been wild, hasn’t it? This one’s a recent IPO and let me tell you, it’s been dropping like a stone. Seriously oversold right now. The big question is, can it catch a second wind with all this IPO buzz we’ve been seeing? Worth keeping a close eye on this one, either as a sympathy play or in case the IPO wave decides to roll back in. Keep it on your radar

BTAI: Back for Week 2 on the list. This stock’s been kicked around big time. According to one source short float has move down a little bit from last week to around 34% of the float. If those shorts start sweating, we might see some fireworks. It’s deep in oversold territory and chock full of shorts—sounds like squeeze material to me. Don’t sleep on this one; keep it locked in your sights.

Oversold beat up stocks to eye,
